Terri Muegerl, LCSW – Clinician/Owner

I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Walla Walla College and my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Idaho State University. My experience has been working with juvenile delinquents, juvenile sex offenders, developmentally delayed children and adults, and mentally ill children and adults. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with these populations, developing the necessary experience to utilize therapeutic approaches in groups and one-on-one.

I have always believed the team approach is most effective for my clients. I believe a teamwork approach will incorporate the support in an individual’s life so that the whole system changes, not just the individual. I also believe in giving back to the community whenever I can. I have volunteered my time to a youth ministry/outreach program for over five years that meets the needs of youth in an outdoor setting. I also served as a Special Olympic Coach and have a real heart for reaching out to others

Sally Welker, LSW, MPS – Community Based Rehabilitation Rehabilitation Specialist

I was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. I am the daughter of a World War II veteran and an English War Bride. I graduated from Pocatello High School in 1968. When my children started school I did too, graduating from Idaho State University with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. My hobbies and interests include my grandchildren, reading, family history and all types of fabric crafts.

I have been a Licensed Social Worker since 1982. I have worked in many areas of Social Work, from the elderly to children. I have been with Behavioral Treatment Center since 2005 as a PSR Worker. I received a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies in 2010.

I have two bachelor degrees. I first earned a BS in psychology and several years later, I went back for my BA in social work. Several years after that, I applied to graduate school to become a counselor and after a couple years work, I got my MA in mental health counseling. All of my degrees were received at Idaho State University. I have had experience working with ages 3 to the elderly. I have worked with children and adults who have developmental disabilities. I enjoy working with families and individuals with aspergers/autism. Other mental illnesses or conditions I enjoy working with include grief, victims of abuse, victims of domestic violence, PTSD, OCD, depression, codependency or relationship issues. I believe that it is important to involve the family in counseling when a child is involved as I believe that only through family change is there lasting and real change.

I grew up in Blackfoot until high school at which point I moved to Pocatello with my family. Since then I have lived in SLC, Boise and back to Pocatello.

I enjoy nature as it is very relaxing to me! I enjoy reading autobiographies, biographies and spiritual books. I am always intrigued by true stories and like to watch true life movies.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and find satisfaction in being able to assist other people better their lives!

Hailey Reed – Clinician

"Hi, I'm Hailey and I am so excited to be part of the amazing team at the Behavioral Treatment Center. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, or LPC. I received my bachelors degree in Health Education and my masters in Mental Health Counseling, both from Idaho State University. I have lived in Pocatello, ID since I was 7 years old, but didn't fall in love with the area until I became an avid hiker, about 4 years ago. Along with hiking and counseling, my passions also include: writing, lifting, singing, dancing, drawing, reading, and traveling. As a counselor, I love working with children, teenagers, and adults. I am interested in learning more about how to incorporate the latest neurosciences and mindfulness/meditation practices into talk therapy in order to help my clients feel educated and discover the best ways to move forward, toward their personal life goals. I am new in the field of counseling and look forward to the all experiences and new knowledge I will gain while working at the BTC!"

Hailey Scott, BA Art Therapy and Design – Case Manager and Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist

I have only lived in Pocatello for the past two years and love it! I'm originally from Twin Falls, Idaho. I graduated in 2009 with two degrees from Seattle Pacific University and spent a summer abroad in France! I will be pursuing my Masters in Special Education soon! My family recently moved here, so I decided to relocate to this area after them and have loved it ever since.

I currently work as a Behavioral Technician with Special Needs students at Highland High School outside of my position here as a Case Manager and CBRS.

I love the outdoors, movie nights with my boyfriend and his beautiful children, cuddles with my puppy, my Starbucks coffees and long talks with my best friends.

I have absolutely loved working at BTC and my clients are the greatest!
